African Lion Art Print - White

The African lion, with its majestic mane and iconic roar, holds a special place in our hearts. They aren’t just stunning - lions are key players in ecosystems, keeping herbivore populations in balance and supporting the savanna habitat.

The king of the jungle is, however, facing various threats that endanger the species’ survival. The lion is up against several of the same huge threats as other African mammals: habitat loss and fragmentation, human-wildlife conflict (retaliatory killings over livestock loss), and poaching and the illegal wildlife trade, where lion bones and other body parts receive a high monetary return for traditional medicine and trophy hunting.

Conservation efforts are underway to protect the iconic big cat. Wildlife corridors are being developed to reconnect their fragmented habitats and anti-poaching patrols have been established to combat the illegal trade in lion parts. To improve the relationship between humans and lions, community-based conservation initiatives are being implemented to promote co-existence.

We are very environmentally conscious and aim to keep the carbon footprint of the business to an absolute minimum. All Wild Lines greetings cards and stationery products are as sustainable as possible. The cards, notebooks and advent colouring books are made of recycled paper.

Because of the quality necessary for art prints, they are not printed on recycled paper. The paper is, however, FSC certified as sustainably sourced. We hope the art prints will have long lives in their new homes before, one day (in the faraway future!), being recycled.

The art prints are packaged with recycled backboards in compostable sleeves. We post all products in hard-backed envelopes. From the tape to stuffing, all of the packaging is also fully recyclable (and recycled where possible).

The price includes eco-friendly packaging and free Second Class postage to UK addresses. There is an option to pay a little extra and upgrade to First Class postage at check out if you need your products sooner.

All orders will be shipped within three working days.

International orders will be posted with Royal Mail International Standard Delivery and the delivery cost will be calculated at check-out. Unfortunately there is no tracking option with this service.

Please note that if you live outside the UK, you might be required to pay taxes when the parcel arrives; these taxes are not included in the price.
