Spread joy and spark a smile this holiday season with the unique and charming Scottish wild cat Christmas card!
The hand-drawn wildcat design coupled with bold pops of festive watercolour (in this case, a mouse-sized present dangling from its mouth!) is guaranteed to capture the hearts of your loved ones.
The animal art Christmas greeting card is perfect for those who embrace the unconventional and wish to add a touch of fun to their Christmas greetings this year. Whether you're sending holiday cheer to fellow wildlife enthusiasts or simply looking to surprise someone with a truly exceptional card, the Wild Lines cat Christmas card might just be the perfect choice.
The last native cat in the UK, the Scottish wildcat holds an important ecological role in the control of small mammals like rabbits, hares and rats. The subspecies was hunted and persecuted in Scotland, but now the biggest threat to this highlands tiger is interbreeding with, and disease transmission from, domestic cats.
Some organisations have been undertaking large-scale neuter and vaccination programmes for domestic cats in areas where wildcats are present. The UK’s first wildcat conservation breeding for release centre is being built in Scotland, which should help maintain Scottish wildcat populations through strategic reintroductions.
The Christmas card bundles are as eco friendly as possible; all Wild Lines cards are made using recycled board and packaged with recycled envelopes.
Printed by a specialist company in the UK, the print quality is brilliant and the cards durable. The cards are made to be treasured and we are always delighted to hear from customers and card recipients who choose to frame their greeting cards and hang them on their walls!
